Description
Fairnie house is a lovely old centrally situated Georgian townhouse. The name 'Fairnie' is taken from the earliest title deeds of the property where the first recorded owner was Isobel Fairnie. It is a 'C' listed building dating from c.1750.

All bedrooms are on the ground floor and have central heating and double glazing as well as TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Free WI-FI is also available. Two bedrooms have en-suite showerrooms while the third has its own private showerroom across the hall. A stone staircase leads up to the first floor where we have the guests' dining room.

The central location of Fairnie House is perfectly located for all that St Andrews has to offer. The Abbey ruins are only 200 metres away, The Byre theatre and restaurant is a near neighbour while the old working harbour and East Sands beach can be reached in 5-10 minutes. Restaurants, shops and the Tourist Information Centre are all closeby and the famous Old Course will only take a very interesting 15 minute walk to reach.
